I was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for roughly 25 years - baptised in July 1985, disfellowshiped in April 2012. That still only amounts to "roughly," because several years of gradually unfolding disillusionment between the years of 2003 and 2010 must also be taken in to consideration. It can sometimes take a long time to leave the Organisation.
